10 Absolutely Magnificent Fall Mantel Ideas!

We are approaching the holidays. And it's about that time we are starting to toy with new and fresh ideas for our home decor.

If you are anything like me , you probably overwhelm yourself with the stress of making everything just perfect. I mean, if it doesn't look good what does that say about your home?

You know that feeling you get when you walk into a store and the air is filled with the aroma of cinnamon and the colors all around are screaming TAKE ME HOME! Well, I am a firm believer in the fact that your home should give you that exact same feeling, especially during the holidays.

When I was a little girl I remember trick or treating in a neighborhood near the apartments when I grew up and I was in awe of the decor. Through the screen doors I could see how beautiful the homes were with pumpkins and fall leaves. The smell of a fireplace going and all I could think of was, One day I will have a home just like this.

It's important to me that my home speaks volumes of who I am and what I am about. And I am all about the holidays! But, sometimes I get overwhelmed with the thought process. I fill my head with ideas from every singe Pinterest page I can get my hands on and before you know it I am exhausted and have little or no energy left to actually create the vibe I want.

Today I decided to share with you 10 of my most favorite Fall Mantels. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

#1 Handmade mood

This one takes the #1 spot because it is the most dramatic. I love all of the details! Handmade mood takes you through a step by step process on how to recreate this in your home. I think it would move easily from one holiday to the next.

#2. Classy Clutter

Don't have a mantel? Thats ok. I love this simple neutral toned faux fireplace design. After all, a simple farmhouse look is all about neutral tones.

#3 Refresh style

Refresh Style doesn't only show her mantel, she takes you on a tour of her Fall Home. With tips on purchases and all!

#4 Liz Marie Blog

I am quite the texture fanatic and this mantel gave me goosebumps. :)

I love all of the natural elements used to create a calm vibe.

#5 Blesser House

Take a tour of this gorgeous Fall home! The fireplace is sleek and simple but offers that Fall punch you so desire.

#6 Stone Gable

I love love love LOVE the layered look just about anywhere. Why? because it creates texture and interest to a space. And, we all know how much I love texture! I love how simple items you can find in any junk pile were used to add interest to this Fall mantel. Again, I think this is a look that can be carried through any holiday or season.

#7 The Frugal Homemaker

Again, Layers! This is all eye candy for me. I love how she brought in Mums to finish the look. I have to say, It stays pretty warm here through October and it is hit or miss for me to have mums on my front porch. I think I will be bringing them in this year!

#8 Post Cards from The Ridge

Call me crazy but I love how a kitchen scale and kitchen pottery was used on this Fall mantel. In my opinion, there are no rules for decorating. Surround yourself with things that you love and the beauty will show through. Check out this blog for some easy DIY's to make this mantel come to life in your own home.

#9 From My Front Porch to Yours

There are so many elements of this one that I love. I had to share two pictures! It is the perfect balance of Fall colors and Neutral tones. I love the iron elements and the cloth elements used to soften up the look.

#10 Town and Country Living

Maybe you don't have a mantel to decorate. You can create the same look anywhere in your home using a table or a bench. I love how a antique ladies dressing table is used in the kitchen of this home. It makes complete sense and the decor is so cute!

Well that's my take away on Fall mantel decor. I hope I was able to share some inspiration with you all! I would love to see how you decorate your own home this season. Make sure to share photos with me on instagram @therutictiller!
